Greetings!

Welcome to Rotary District 7600's Group Study Exchange Team travel blog detailing our sojourn to District 3620 in South Korea!

Group Study Exchange (GSE) is a program sponsored by Rotary International to foster goodwill and cultural awareness between countries.  Each GSE teams consists of four non-Rotarians between the ages of 25 and 40 in the early stages of their career and a Rotarian member who serves as team leader.  Teams complete international travel lasting between four to six weeks. During their stay, the team is  hosted by multiple families who kindly act as guides and graciously allow members to lodge in their homes.  Teams visit Rotary clubs, cultural and historical sites, government agencies and workplaces representative of their unique career path.

Our five person team departs from Richmond, Virginia on April 2, 2012 and returns on May 1st.  Our four week stay will occur in the South Chungcheong Province of South Korea.
